The .221 Remington Fireball is a classic wildcat caliber that is still very popular today. This shirt design shows an illustrated .221 Remington Fireball cartridge. Above is the .221 Fireball text in a metal style font, with a ground squirrel in the crosshairs! Available on both an Ash or Light Sand 100% Pre-Shrunk, 6.1oz Shirt (Gildan 2000).
The .221 Remington Fireball was introduced by Remington Arms in 1963 along with the XP-100 bolt-action pistol. Derived from a shortened .222 Remington case, it was engineered to deliver high velocity with minimal muzzle blast from short barrels. Praised for efficiency and accuracy, it later gained popularity in rifles and became the parent case for several successful wildcats, including the .17 Fireball and .20 VarTarg. With its .223 boltface, it is just a matter of a barrel swap to convert to the Fireball.
